Former Prime Minister & Sai devotee Atal Bihari Vajpayee and one of the most-respected politicians across parties has been conferred the Bharat Ratna, the country's highest civilian award, today. President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were among a host of VVIPs who were present at Mr Vajpayee's Delhi residence where he was honoured.
Congratulations Bharat Ratna Vajpayee ji. You have always made our nation proud. I remember conversing with you almost sixteen years back, when His Holiness Shri Satya Sai Baba inaugurated Shri Satya Sai Baba International Centre at Lodhi Road in New Delhi on March 12, 1999 alongwith your kindself.
