Bravo !! India seal World Cup semi-final spot with crushing victory over Bangladesh

Rohit Sharma smashes 137 as India set Bangladesh 303 to win ~ Bangladesh fall 109 runs short of target at the MCG.

Its insane seeing so many people saying it was because of unfair umpiring that India won. That may hold true if Bangladesh had lost by a narrow margin. England can claim that the only reason why Bangladesh qualified is because the fact is they were absolutely hammered by a far superior Indian team. Imrul Kayes had a life as well due to an umpiring error and he made a hash out of his opportunity. Rohit Sharma's no ball chance may have costed 20-30 runs but Dhawan's catch was clean as there was no movement whatsoever in the rope. A margin of 109 runs cannot be attributed to the umpires for sure.

I can see the fuss about the no-ball that wasn't for Rohit Sharma, but I really can't see all the fuss about Raina's potential LBW. It was close to pitching outside leg stump so the umpire did the right thing by giving the batsman the benefit of the doubt. In fact it would have been wrong to have given it out. It was not even "umpires call" meaning that if the umpire had given it out, India could have reviewed and had it overturned.

Go India Go and lift the ICC trophy :-)
